In cooperation with the OSCE Academy in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) the IICP facilitates dialogue workshops for representatives from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Participants represent all sectors of society: governmental officials from different ministries, academics from various disciplines, political activists and civil society representatives.  

Upon the closure of the dialogue workshop in October 2005 participants expressed the need for further continuation under the auspices of the OSCE Academy in the form of Training of Trainers (ToT) and forum meetings. The OSCE Academy supported this initiative and a 10 days ToT took place in March 2006 and a forum meeting was organised in the first week of November 2006.  

The dialogue initiative will continue also in 2008 and will address conflicts on the regional level, such as water conflicts and cross border conflicts.
