In cooperation with the OSCE Academy in Bishkek and UNDP Kyrgyzstan, the IICP was engaged in facilitation for specific conflicts in the South of Kyrgyzstan.

In October 2004 facilitation took place in the Aksy region.

In October 2005 the IICP facilitated cross-border conflicts between the Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan and the Sugd Oblast of Tajikistan.

Representatives of cross-border communities and local state administrations, as well as UNDP Trans Border Project partners – Khudjand and Garm regional offices, UNDP Tajikistan and SDC in Uzbekistan – took part in the dialogue.
